11Nine had two prototype fatbikes at Interbike 2014, codenamed Epicyon and Hemicyon. Both prototypes are impressive full-suspension models. Epicyon has a fixed pivot tail and a front suspension fork with 110mm of travel. Hemicyon is a downhill racing fat bike. Both the front and rear suspension have a massive 150mm travel.
The Epicyon makes use of the now-ubiquitous Rockshox Bluto fat bike suspension fork and has a fixed pivot tail for a classic mountain bike feel. The Hemicyon uses a custom fork to allow for 150mm travel with 4.25” tires.
Both of these bikes are still in the prototyping phase, but they should be on the market starting in early 2015.
