Tern Hauler Rack
A compact front cargo rack that handles bulky, irregular loads without boxing you in — open-ended design, bungee cord included, four bolt-on crate mounts, and Quick Release CMT compatibility. Manoeuvrable under load without adding bike length.
The Tern Hauler Rack prioritises manoeuvrability and flexibility over maximum platform size. Smaller than the Transporteur Rack, it's designed for riders who need front cargo capacity but want a bike that still handles like a bike — it doesn't add length to compatible models, and the open-ended design means bags, backpacks, boxes, and awkward-shaped loads aren't constrained by rack walls. Four bolt-on holes accommodate crates when structured cargo is needed. Includes a bungee cord for securing loads without hardware. Quick Release CMT Gen 1 compatibility (optional, sold separately) allows the rack to be removed and reinstalled rapidly.

Four mounting holes allow bolt-on crates to be attached securely when a more structured cargo format is required. Switches from open platform to crated cargo without additional hardware beyond the crate itself.
Quick Release CMT Gen 1 compatible
Optional Quick Release CMT Gen 1 (sold separately) allows the rack to be removed and reinstalled without tools in seconds. Useful when the bike is used for both cargo and unloaded riding and a clean front end is preferred without the rack.
Two rear-facing bottle cage mounts
Built-in bottle cage mounting points at the rear of the rack — for water bottles on cargo rides or frame-mounted locks within reach while riding.
Transporteur Rack — for dedicated crate/Eurocrate use
If a larger structured crate platform is the primary use case, the Transporteur Rack ($276) is designed specifically for 300 × 400 mm Eurocrates with a larger 430 × 420 mm footprint and integral sidewalls. The Hauler is the more flexible, compact option; the Transporteur is the dedicated crate carrier.
