KLICKfix TopKlip — on and off the rack in seconds

KLICKfix TopKlip uses a rail along the top of the rack to clip the basket on from above and release it with a lever. The attachment is secure during the ride and releases quickly at the destination. At a grocery store, the basket comes off the bike, gets filled at the shelf, and clips back on at the bike — no bags to transfer, no reloading. The TopKlip interface is tool-free and repeatable without wear.

Standalone grocery basket — from rack to store

The Market Basket detaches from the bike and carries as a conventional grocery basket. Load it at the shelf directly, walk it to the checkout, load it back on the bike at the exit. The 24-litre volume and open-top access are well-matched to grocery shopping where items need to be placed in and retrieved individually. Eliminating the transfer step between disposable bags and the bike simplifies the errand and removes the need for single-use plastic bags entirely.

PE wicker over steel frame — weatherproof basket aesthetic

Natural wicker absorbs moisture, rots at the weave over time, and is not easily cleaned after a muddy ride or a spilled grocery. PE (polyethylene) wicker over a steel frame replicates the open-weave aesthetic of a traditional market basket in a material that is weatherproof, UV-stable, and wipe-clean. The steel frame maintains the basket's shape under load without flexing or deforming over time. The combination handles outdoor use and year-round weather without degrading.

24 L and 10 kg — a full market shop

24 litres accommodates a meaningful grocery load: a few days of fresh produce, a couple of wine bottles, packaged goods, and bread without overflow. The 10 kg limit applies to the mounted load — dense items like canned goods and bottles approach the weight limit before filling the volume. A mixed shop of produce, bread, and light packaged goods typically stays well within both limits. The open top means items of any height can be placed in the basket without height constraints.

TopKlip vs Rackpack — which does your rack have?

KLICKfix has two main mounting interfaces for rack-top bags and baskets. Rackpack uses a twist-lock base that drops onto a mounting plate on the rack platform — common on many Tern racks. TopKlip uses a rail along the top of the rack that the basket slides onto from above. The Market Basket Gen 2 uses TopKlip specifically. Some racks (like the Loader Rack Gen 2) support both; others support only one. Check which interface your rack has before ordering — Rackpack and TopKlip accessories are not interchangeable.
