    Tern Kanga Rack

A KLICKfix-compatible front rack that clips onto the Luggage Truss — adjustable strap system for bags and packages of any shape, quick-detach button for tool-free removal, and frame-mounted for stable steering under load.

    $124 CAD

Requires Luggage Truss Gen 2 or Luggage Truss CMT. The Kanga Rack mounts via KLICKfix to a Luggage Truss — it does not attach directly to the bike. You need either the Luggage Truss Gen 2 ($97, head tube mount) or the Luggage Truss CMT ($103, Combo Mount) already installed on your bike. Verify which truss your bike takes using Tern's compatibility checker. 3.2 kg load capacity (7 lb) Quick-detach button release KLICKfix mounting system

The Tern Kanga Rack is a KLICKfix-compatible rack that snaps onto an installed Luggage Truss to create a front cargo platform. Unlike bags that hang or clip directly to the truss, the Kanga Rack provides a rigid platform with an adjustable strap system — accommodating packages, lunch boxes, and cargo of varying shapes without requiring a purpose-made bag format. A quick-detach button removes the rack from the truss without tools in seconds. Mounting to the Luggage Truss keeps load on the frame, not the fork — steering stays responsive with cargo on board.

Adjustable strap system — any bag, any shape

The Kanga Rack's strap system secures bags and packages that don't conform to a specific format. Grocery bags, lunch boxes, small backpacks, and irregular parcels all stay put. No need for dedicated panniers or cargo bags — use what you already carry.

Quick-detach button — off in seconds, no tools

A single button releases the Kanga Rack from the Luggage Truss. Remove it when riding unloaded, store it separately, reattach when needed. The KLICKfix interface snaps back on just as fast — no threading, no tightening, no tools.

Frame-mounted via Luggage Truss — stable steering

The Luggage Truss mounts the entire system to the frame rather than the fork. Load weight stays on the main structure — the fork is unaffected, steering remains direct and predictable under load. The Kanga Rack inherits this advantage simply by attaching to the truss.

KLICKfix compatible — part of a broader ecosystem

The KLICKfix interface is a shared standard across the Tern accessory lineup and many third-party products. The same Luggage Truss that holds the Kanga Rack can also accept the HQ Bag and Hold 'Em Basket — swap between them without tools based on what you're carrying that day.

Which Luggage Truss do I need?

If your Tern bike has head tube screw holes (hidden under the head badge), use the Luggage Truss Gen 2 ($97). If your bike has a Combo Mount, use the Luggage Truss CMT ($103). Check Tern's compatibility checker to confirm — the Kanga Rack works with either.
