The Tern Luggage Truss Gen 2 is a mounting adapter, not a rack. It attaches to two screw holes hidden beneath the head badge on compatible Tern bikes and provides a KLICKfix quick-release interface for bags, baskets, and racks in the KLICKfix ecosystem. Mounting to the head tube rather than the fork keeps cargo weight on the frame — better steering feel under load. The profile is low enough that folded bike dimensions are unaffected on folding models. An integrated locking mechanism secures attached accessories against theft or accidental release.

The Luggage Truss Gen 2 sits tight to the head tube and does not add meaningfully to the bike's profile when folded. Tern folding bikes that carry this truss can still be folded and stored without the truss interfering with the folded footprint.
