A waterproof padded seat for young passengers riding on a Clubhouse carrier — ergonomically sized for children ages 5–10 (110–140 cm), quick to install and remove, and compatible with the Clubhouse Gen 3, Clubhouse Mini Gen 1, and Clubhouse Backrest Gen 1.
The Tern Clubhouse Seat Pad is a cushioned seat pad for children riding as passengers on a Tern cargo bike equipped with a Clubhouse carrier. It is sized and shaped for younger children — the 270 × 170 mm seat surface suits the smaller proportions of children aged 5 to 10 (approximately 110–140 cm tall). Polyurethane construction is fully waterproof: the pad does not absorb rain, road spray, or spills, and wipes clean without drying time. Installation and removal are tool-free, making it straightforward to switch the Clubhouse carrier between child and cargo configurations. Fully waterproof PU — not just water-resistant
Polyurethane is non-porous — it does not absorb water. Rain, road spray, and spills stay on the surface and wipe off rather than soaking in and saturating a foam layer underneath. A wet seat pad that a child sits on immediately is more comfortable than one that has absorbed water. The waterproof rating also means the pad doesn't take on moisture weight or develop odour from trapped dampness over time.
Clubhouse Gen 3 + Mini Gen 1 compatible
The pad mounts to the Clubhouse Gen 3 and Clubhouse Mini Gen 1 carriers. The Clubhouse Gen 3 is the full-size Clubhouse carrier; the Mini Gen 1 is a compact version for bikes with tighter rear deck space. The pad fits both, though carrier capacity — and whether multiple pads can be configured — varies by carrier model.

The Clubhouse Backrest Gen 1 attaches to the Clubhouse carrier to give the child a backrest — important for longer rides and for children who may lean back when tired.
